Bodywork & Massage
Robert Byrnes, CMT

About Me

Robert Byrnes has been a bodyworker for over 25 years. He integrates several modalities to provide a unique treatment that is customized to each client’s needs. He mindfully and purposefully employs techniques that are specific to the individual’s condition. His strength allows him to work deeply, yet his sensitivity allows him to work subtlety. Clients experience relief because he works on problem areas until there is resolution.

Robert has a deep understanding of anatomy, and the relationship between structure and function. However, the most important aspect of his work is the quality of his touch. He is able to work with strength and power in a relaxed and flowing manner because of his knowledge of the body and his ability to engage it mindfully. This allows the client to experience a deeper level of connection, relaxation, and transformation.

Robert has trained in Deep Tissue Sports massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Myopractics, Traditional Thai massage, Ashiatsu Oriental Deepfeet Bar Therapy, Chinese Cupping, CranioSacral Therapy, Pregnancy massage, Reiki, Reflexology, and Esalen relaxation massage. Robert has also studied Oriental Medicine and acupuncture.

Robert graduated from the 1500 hour Myopractics and Massage Therapy program at the Institute for Natural Therapeutics in Mesa, Arizona and has pursued over 500 hours of advanced training since then.
